Personal information

Violet manage data regarding an Account Holder in accordance with applicable laws, data protection acts and/or similar.

Violet uphold strict confidentiality regarding all relations with an Account Holder. This can only be breached by a decision deriving from the Governing Law and/or in the event of an Account Holder violating the Violet Rules.

Any data utilised for marketing purposes is based on the so called opt-in principle.

Violet manage data regarding an Account Holder in accordance with applicable laws, data protection acts and/or similar. 
 
1. Violet adheres to the Data Protection Act, other relevant regulations, legal notices and/or similar at the Place of the Contract taking account of the Data Protection Directive (EC Directive 95/46/EC) and the Electronic Communications Privacy Directive (EC Directive/2002/58/EC).

Furthermore, Violet has adopted best practice when it comes to the principles of e-mail communication with Account Holders.
  
2. All the aforementioned is in place in order to assure Account Holders that at all times personal data is:

    * processed in accordance with the rights of the Account Holder concerned;
    * processed fairly and lawfully;
    * obtained only for a specific and lawful purpose;
    * adequate, relevant and not excessive to its purpose;
    * accurate and updated;
    * kept in a secure manner;
    * not kept longer than is necessary for its purpose;
    * not transferred to jurisdictions not adhering to the aforementioned Directives; and
    * is utilised for marketing purposes based on the so called opt-in principle.
 

3. Violet discloses personal data when ordered to do so by order of the Governing Authorities and/or under provision in the Governing Law.

Furthermore, Violet reserves the right to disclose personal data to relevant recipients when Violet has reasonable grounds to suspect irregularities that involve a Violet Account.
 

4. Customer Relationship Management ("CRM")

Violet reserves the right to process personal data for CRM purposes. However, only Account Holders that have agreed to the so-called opt-in will receive marketing material (see also clause 13.2 bullet 9.)
 

5. The Account Holder has the right to require access to the Account Holder's own personal data and/or has the right to correct and/or erase wrong and/or inappropriate data.
 

6. Cookies

The Violet website works by using cookies for the following purposes:

    * To identify the Account Holder's preferred language so it is automatically selected when the Account Holder returns to Violet
    * To ensure bets the Account Holder places are associated with the Account Holder's betting coupon and account
    * To ensure the Account Holder receives any bonuses the Account Holder is eligible for
    * For analysis of Violet website traffic to allow us to make suitable improvements

Encryption

After logging in all information sent to and from the Violet site is encrypted using 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. The SSL certificate used is issued and verified by Thawte, click on the image for more information.

Thawte Seal

Your credit card details are encrypted and only sent over the Internet once to Violet. It is then stored encrypted in Violet's secure systems

Casino & Scratch Card

Our casino & Scratch Card is a product from NetEntertainment, a Swedish company part of the large Cherry group listed on the stock market. Their software and ours is monitored and checked by different third party companies to guarantee security and honesty.

To inspect the software at our end, we have third party auditors Deloitte and Touche (who are world-renown for their work) who examine the software code and randomness in our casino and ensure that the software is completely random and safe. We do this out of respect to our customers and to comply with strong international standards.

This guarantees that there is no manipulation whatsoever, not by the company and not by the customer. This RNG is tested and approved by Technical Systems Testing, which is a certified company registered in Canada. Another company that does the same tests and quality assurance is the Swedish company Statens Kriminalteknologiska Labratorium (SKL).
